Jeep Safari Plitvice

This is our most diverse day trip in the Plitvice area. You’ll be amazed by the variety of natural wonders and stunning scenery as we share the iconic locations and best – kept secrets of the Plitvice area.

Beyond the most beautiful Croatian National Park Plitvice Lakes there is history. Great stories to be told and majestic nature to explore. Plješevica Mountain on the east side is a natural border between Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, several kilometers away from the national park with its peak of 1648m reachable with our 4×4 vehicle. The peak is not only “come and go”, but it is also the perfect spot for a picnic lunch and stunning view over Bosnia and Croatia. The big area on the peak covers underground tunnels for the ex Yugoslavian communist army

During Yugoslavia, there was a radar station covering air territories all the way to Italy and Hungary. The reason to build a radar station is one of the most sophisticated secret projects – underground military airbase Željava at the bottom of the mountain. On the way to the tunnels, we will visit the remains of the Douglas C-47 “Dakota” transport airplane, used in the II World War. During the drive, we will pass through old villages, next to rivers and waterfalls. Jeep safari Plitvice is the best way to fully enjoy the outskirts and landscape surrounding the National Park Plitvice Lakes.

Yes, this is also perfect for solo travelers as they can meet other travelers and get travel tips from locals. The minimum number of participants for the implementation of the arrangement is 3 people or you can join an existing group.

What should I do if I’m running late?
